So David seems to be on a bit of a mission here! What possible reason would David have to get Tom to do something for him? (More on that in future chapter pages)

In planning this chapter out, I wanted to be sure I addressed those dangling issues that have been introduced in earlier chapters. So the TV playing news about the progress of curing M219 - David's mention of the Incarceration Initiative being voted down are all little subtle ways to get those loose ends tied up. I don't want to dwell on those bits, but leaving them hanging without resolution wasn't an option either.
