A bit of a flashback. Material that refers to a story called "Starting Over" the "prequel" as it were to Plague's beginning.

It was Steve's story, about events that sent him to Kuala Lumpur and how he and Maribel met - and of course all the things in between. Not all of it was remotely pleasant.

Steve was on the wrong side of the Yakuza...and that didn't make things easy between him and Maribel. Sachiko was/is one of Maribel's closest friends - her college roommate and quite wild compared to Maribel's conservativeness.
