This page tooke me SO long to get done! OMG. Like eight hours. Not because the thing was any more intricate than previous pages have been... nope...

This is the first page turned out on my brand new Cintiq Companion. It has a pretty steep learning curve for someone who is used to something like an Intuos 4. All of the tools are in different places, and then there's that it sense touch as well as the pen's proximity and the two get confused at times. It got rather annoying.

Add to that the drivers were... funky and my line art started looking like they did when I first started working with Photoshop (It was rather bad at times).

BUUUUTTT... on the plus side, it feels so much more natural to draw directl on the surface again, and I think once I'm used to the quirks, things like inking are going to take WAY less time. (A watcher commented the inks on this are better than usual. You be the judge.)
